Nick Perez graduated magna cum laude from the Texas Southern University – Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where he held several student-leadership positions. Nick served as Mr. TMSL on the Student Bar Association, President of the campus chapter of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators, and Associate Editor of the Thurgood Marshall Law Review. Nick also has an L.L.M., in Taxation, from the University of Houston Law Center. Prior to law school, Nick graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Houston.
Nick practices primarily in the areas of labor & employment law, consumer law, commercial litigation, and disability benefits. Additionally, Nick has worked on the formation of for-profit and non-profit corporations, and represented clients before the Texas Court of Appeals. Nick’s charitable legal endeavors include pro bono representation of indigent minors. Nick participates in campus activities at both TMSL and UHLC and is also a member of several Houston-area community organizations. Nick was also named to Super Lawyers’ 2020 list of Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars.
Before embarking on a legal career, Nick was a teacher and a well-respected business owner in the Houston-area. Nick’s diverse experience helps him understand the challenges and legal concerns our clients face in their business operations, enabling him to more effectively anticipate and meet their needs. As with all our team members, client satisfaction is Nick’s only priority, and he works diligently to obtain the best possible results for our clients.
